Exclamation CMPlus stuck in what looks like standby mode.

    Hi,
I tried testing a script that I wrote. I uploaded to my CMPlus successfully but when I switched to the profile/slot on the CMPlus so that I could test it in device monitor, the CMPlus started to flash as if it were in "Standby animation with both dots - No console or controller connected"
The only difference is, that the animation makes its way to upward and then resets, without going downward. There isn't description for this animation.
    I've tried:
    • Resetting the CMPlus by using the pin-hole and reuploading the firmware
    • Disconnecting the CMPlus from the PC and plugging in my G27 and connecting to PS4
    • Disconnecting CMPlus closing and reopening CMPro and then reconnecting
    • Switching ports/cable
    • Tried CMPro beta to go to 1.22
    • Disabled Virus Scanner
    • Tried a different PC
    • Tried the official cable provided in package

The only time my device shows its connection status is when it's in Program mode..Any other time, it's "Device Disconnected".

    Looks like this:

That looks exactly like the issue we had with the 1.23 firmware, not entirely sure what you should do since you've tried to downgrade it to 1.22 already :/

Yeah, I'm wondering if the latest version of my script bricked it?? LOL.
It's a simple infinite while loop with a whole bunch of if statements. They aren't even nested. I don't know how it could... I'm waiting to see if email support can offer any suggestions.

I've tried a PS3 Cable and the official. Only thing I have left is a Wii U Gamepad Cable. I doubt it'll work, but it's worth a shot....

You'd need to post your script for us to comment

The PS3 cable is notoriously unreliable. It's also possible our cable is faulty OR your USB port is iffy - but everything is pointing towards a bad script or bad device.

I did a build and run then pushed the slot selection button and my CMP said goodnight.

    P.S.
I bought another one for my son 1 day before this happened, but I'm scared to test and see if my device is faulty.

Your script will never work, that may be the issue you're having, it's stuck in a endless loop...

Main is run like a while loop so you don't need that

I guess i'll have to add a way to erase all the slots as part of recovery so it don't end up in a weird loop like that, may help solve your problem...

Sweet. I'll try anything right now xD
Will you update this thread once you've done so?
Also, I've made a note of the fact that main() is a while loop. Makes sense.
    Thanks!
