    Logitech G27 button mapping - XB1

Has anyone with this setup been really disappointed that the steering wheel buttons don't work? It makes things much more difficult. Someone replied to me on another thread that the 920 has fewer buttons, so if the game reads your wheel as a 920 they won't work. I tried playing Project Cars and the top 2 wheel buttons worked....so is it game related?

it was me... The top 2 buttons are generally L2 & R2 on PS and LT & RT on XB.... they don't exist persay on G920 but we mapped them as digital versions of Brake and Gas... Pcars and Forza were a pain as you needed to press the Gas and Brake to navigate the menus...

Sorry to keep beating the issue, but is there any way possible in the future that the G27 wheel buttons could be made useable, or is that out of the question? Is this a post better suited for the request thread?

    I'm running a G29 on Xb1X via DH.

I would also like to be able to map either the L2/R2 or L3/R3 on the G29 wheel on F1 and any other game where applicable (Assetto corsa is another).

Lots of buttons to map but not enough to actually chose from, was hoping to have DRS on R2 for example but can't

Also, is there any way I can run my headset through my Xbox controller via the 3.5mm jack, I like to have the engineers audio via the headset (adds to immersion).

Would buying a second controller to plug the headset into work?

Kudos on a great product btw!!

Till yet, I have not tried the mapping button or option. However, I have heard that using this option, there are more chances to make the gaming experience best.
