Destiny - KittyDawn's Special Edition

The Destiny GamePack is an entirely fresh approach to how GamePacks are written. Here is an introduction from CronusMAX lead GPC scripter and GamePack legend, KittyDawn.

I hope you enjoy this GamePack as it was a labor of love. I spent over 80 hours playing Destiny to create it and have so far spent another 200+ hours tweaking it.

I think Destiny is something special and rather than just make a generic GamePack, I wanted to put something together that was worthy of this great title. Other than just copy the Battlefield 4 template and change a few things around like other GamePack designers seem to have done (for example others have Bunny Hop - what's the point? Destiny is mainly made of small closed spaces. No one bunny hops while playing as you only end up getting caught on something, and you can't prone in the game so drop shot is also useless - things like that, so why put mods in there that do not even apply to the game? The simple answer is, they have probably never played the game - it's like they pulled a few scripts from the GPC library and used a bit of code uploaded by users without even knowing how the game works. You guys deserve something better.

So, as with my other packs, I made this one from scratch. No copied code, I made it all for this game.

You may have noticed that the classes aren't in the usual order. I decided to put the button layout mods at the top because if you don't have the correct one selected, then none of the mods will work correctly! It is easy to miss these options when they are buried at the bottom and below Mods that you'll probably never use.

I'm a gamer, I make GamePacks for gamers with Mods that are relevant. I don't simply copy from the other packs or use other peoples scripts, I make them all from scratch. I hope my work makes the game more enjoyable and as well as bringing you more useful packs, I'll update current packs and do what I can to add what you want.

Take care and if you were the person I killed in the crucible to win the match while on a 10+ kill streak, I'm not sorry :p

KittyDawn.

As soon as you select your preferred settings, close the GCI and click the PROGRAM DEVICE button. To select the GamePack you wish to use on your console, press the Memory Slot button on the CronusMAX PLUS so that it highlights the corresponding number on the LED (so if you have a GamePack loaded to Memory Slot 1, the LED on the CronusMAX PLUS should display the number 1).

GamePack Classes and Mods

Destiny - KittyDawn's Special Edition

1
Class 1
In Game Button Layout
Most users play Destiny using the default button layout but a lot of players do use optional button layouts. With the In Game Button Layouts you can make any of the Mods on the CronusMAX PLUS work with your favorite configurations, so select the option here which matches your in game options and the GamePack will optimize all MOD Classes to your preferred layout. NOTE: This step is very important. If you don't select the correct layout that you are using in game, the MODS in this GamePack will not work correctly.

Rapid Fire
When Rapid Fire is enabled, you can turn virtually any semi automatic weapon into a fully automatic weapon. This creates a very unique advantage for players using semi automatic weapons. While Rapid Fire will not usually make a fully automatic gun shoot any faster, it can have positive side effects on fully automatic guns such as reducing recoil, helping players conserve ammunition and achieve more headshots.

HOW TO ADJUST THE RAPID FIRE SPEED
You can adjust Rapid Fire speed and test your settings within the game. (In Menu Mode: LB/L1 Reduce Value Increases Rate of Fire - RB/R1 Increase Value Reduces Rate of Fire - RT/R2 Test).

Burst Fire
Burst firing is designed to turn semi automatic and automatic weapons into burst firing weapons. When this feature is enabled in Class 4, your weapon will fire in bursts and can be set to 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 round bursts. Burst firing can help reduce recoil and conserve ammunition.

Anti-Recoil
This MOD compensate for vertical recoil while firing a weapon by automatic moving the control stick in the opposite direction of the one your gun is moving while firing. The adjustable parameter sets how much the compensation should be. This Anti-Recoil MOD comes with two special presets which also gives you control of the recoil weight. See the options below for adjusting the Presets and Anti-Recoil weight.

Remember, there isn't a one-size-fits-all setup for Anti-Recoil sensitivity due to different weapons having different perks and attachments affecting weight distribution. We suggest you try different adjustable values with each weapon and set to whatever you feel works best for you. It's recommended that you share these values with the CronusMAX Support Community to helps others :)

TIP
If your weapon is moving UP when you fire, you need a LARGER number in the adjustable parameter.

If your weapon is moving DOWN when you fire, you need a SMALLER number in the adjustable parameter.

Class 7
Easy Super
Have you ever needed to active your super in a rush and accidentally wasted a grenade, punched the air or do you simply find it a pain pressing both buttons at the same time? Again, CronusMAX comes to the rescue. When this exclusive MOD is active, pressing the player highlight button will instead press the two buttons to activate your super instead!

For example, with the default layout and Stick controls, pressing the RS/R3 will press the LB/L1 and RB/R1 at exactly the same time, thus making it a lot easier to activate your super.

TIP
Please ensure Class 1 and 2 match your in game settings for this MOD.

Combining Mod Classes

The Destiny GamePack allows you to have 15 active Mods across 11 Classes. It was tailored especially for this game and, unlike others, isn't just a copy of the BF4 pack template. This is Destiny, you don't run around with the same gun, you are always switching. That's why it includes a CronusMAX PLUS Exclusive MOD, two Anti-Recoil settings that can be accessed and modified on the fly! No need to run through menus to find the correct class. It's all right there at the touch of a button.

One press of a button and you are on your Sparrow as fast as possible. No longer getting sniped while in the Nav menu. You can keep an eye on the battlefield while the pack does the work.

The CronusMAX Team brings you another GamePack made by gamers, for gamers.
