Halo Master Chief Collection - Halo 4

The CronusMAX PLUS Halo MCC GamePack Collection are customized to work with each title in the Halo MCC series - unlike other MODS that you may find on the market that generically tries to work with all games in the Halo series (and poorly so), our GamePacks are tailored to the specific feature set of each title, in this case Halo 4.

A very special thanks to GamePack legend KittyDawn (Andrew) - he has spent hundreds of hours playing Halo to make this pack just right for you!

Hold BACK+START for 2 seconds to enter menu mode.
Hold VIEW+MENU for 2 seconds to enter menu mode.

IMPORTANT
Always keep the SELECT/SHARE/BACK/VIEW button pressed while in Menu mode. To exit the menu mode, release the SELECT/SHARE/BACK/VIEW button.

Player LED 4 will blink the number of the current Class (DS4 / CronusMAX PLUS Backlight LED will flash Pink).

Player LED 3 will blink the number of the active MOD for the current Class (DS4 / CronusMAX PLUS Backlight LED will flash green).

NOTE

If the Player LED 3 is not blinking, it means either no MOD or the Default setting is selected for the current Class. See below for instructions how to navigate between Classes and MOD's.

You can also pre-configure your GamePack settings using the GamePack Configuration Interface (GCI) in Cronus Pro. The GCI opens automatically when you load a GamePack to a memory slot, or you can simply click on the memory slot number to the left of the loaded GamePack to open the GCI. As soon as you select your preferred settings, close the GCI and click the PROGRAM DEVICE button. To select the GamePack you wish to use on your console, press the Memory Slot button on the CronusMAX PLUS so that it highlights the corresponding number on the LED (so if you have a GamePack loaded to Memory Slot 1, the LED on the CronusMAX PLUS should display the number 1).

GamePack Classes and Mods

Halo Master Chief Collection - Halo 4

1
Class 1
In Game Button Layout
Want to use the game specific control options but other MODS make this impossible and only allow you to use the universal layouts? No problem. All the games layout options are covered here, not just the universal one (None of which I like! - KittyDawn) Select the button layout you use in game and the GamePack will automatically adjust all the MODS to your preferred layout. NOTE: This step is very important. If you don't select the correct layout that you are using in game, the MODS in this GamePack will not work correctly.

Primary Weapon Rapid Fire
When Rapid Fire is enabled, you can turn virtually any semi automatic weapon into a fully automatic weapon. This creates a very unique advantage for players using semi automatic weapons. While Rapid Fire will not usually make a fully automatic gun shoot any faster, it can have positive side effects on fully automatic guns such as reducing recoil, helping players conserve ammunition and achieve more headshots.

HOW TO ADJUST THE RAPID FIRE SPEED
You can adjust Rapid Fire speed and test your settings within the game. (In Menu Mode: LB/L1 Reduce Value Increases Rate of Fire - RB/R1 Increase Value Reduces Rate of Fire - RT/R2 Test).

Class 8
Team SWAT / ADS Mode
I love the Team Swat Game mode but I find that pressing the Zoom button twice to switch in and out of ADS slows my gameplay down. I also use the Default setup so find pressing the RS a bit of a pain as it interferes with my aiming. So I created this MOD. It will swap your Left Trigger with your Zoom Button. Not only that, it will press the Zoom button when you press and hold the Left Trigger and then press it again when you release the Left Trigger. Therefore turning Halo's Zoom system into the usual ADS that you are used to! If you wish to use this MOD outside of Team Swat, you will find that the usual function of your Left Trigger, has been moved to your Zoom button - KittyDawn.

Sticky Strike
With this MOD, a simple double tap of your Melee button will perform a sticky strike. With a Plasma Grenade Equipped, double tap your Melee button. This causes you character to throw a grenade at your opponent and automatically jump backwards to safety. This should be activated when you are close to your opponent. BXR does not work in Halo 2 Anniversary so this MOD is a suitable substitute.

Select the control layout you are using in-game so the Anti-Recoil MOD (Class 12) knows which one you're aiming with.

Anti-Recoil
This MOD compensate for vertical recoil while firing a weapon by automatic moving the control stick in the opposite direction of the one your gun is moving while firing. The adjustable parameter sets how much the compensation should be. See the menu system instructions above for more information on how to adjust the compensation in this mode.

Remember, there isn't a one-size-fits-all setup for Anti-Recoil sensitivity due to different weapons having different perks and attachments affecting weight distribution. We suggest you try different adjustable values with each weapon and set to whatever you feel works best for you. It's recommended that you share these values with the CronusMAX Support Community to helps others :)

NOTE: Make sure you set the correct In Game Analog Stick Layout in Class 11 - this needs to be set to the same layout that you are using in-game.

HOW TO ADJUST ANTI-RECOIL IN GAME
You can adjust Anti-Recoil and test your settings within the game. (In Menu Mode: LB/L1 Decrease Weight - RB/R1 Increase Weight - RT/R2 Test).

Decreases

TIP
If your weapon is moving UP when you fire, you need a LARGER number in the adjustable parameter.

If your weapon is moving DOWN when you fire, you need a SMALLER number in the adjustable parameter.
