Xbox One Controller Connecting to a PS4

Without a USB Hub (Partial Crossover Support)

Without a USB Hub (Partial Crossover Support)

1
Set Output Protocol

Follow the instructions here to correctly connect your CronusMAX PLUS to a PC via the PC PROG port using the supplied Mini-USB Cable.

Load Cronus PRO and go to Tools > Options > Device

Set the Output Protocol to PS4.

These are also the recommended default Speed Up Settings for Xbox One Controllers. Rumble Over Bluetooth is disabled as it's not being used.

2
Enable Partial PS4 Crossover Support

Select the CMax Plus Tab and check the box to the left of 'Enable PS4 partial crossover support (auto reconnect every 10 min)'.

We also recommend you select the 'Mimic Controller Player LEDs' option if you have CronusMAX PLUS v3 device. This is especially useful if you plan on using our GamePacks.

You can now close the Options window and disconnect your CronusMAX PLUS from your PC.

3
Connect the CronusMAX PLUS to your PlayStation 4

Connect the CronusMAX PLUS into one of your PlayStation 4 USB ports via it's Output Port.

The CronusMAX PLUS LED Display will now show the spinning Standby animation.

4
Remove any Xbox One Controller Batteries

Remove any batteries or charger pack from your Xbox One Controller (if it has them).

This is a very important step or the controller will not authorize correctly.

5
Connect your Xbox One Controller to the CronusMAX PLUS

Connect your Xbox One Controller into the Input Port of the CronusMAX PLUS using a full data Micro-USB Cable.

6
Ready to Use

After a couple of seconds the display on the CronusMAX LED will go from the spinning Standby Animation to 0 (or a number if slot recall is enabled and a script was previously loaded) - indicating that the controllers are authorized and you're ready to play. At this point you can use your controller through the CronusMAX PLUS and also load any scripts or GamePacks. It's that simple! NOTE: If there is no response from your Crossover controller but the CronusMAX LED displays 0, then you should follow this Xbox One Troubleshooting Guide.

Don't forget to use the PS4 Crossover Essentials GamePack to make sure all the Xbox Buttons are mapped correctly to DualShock 4 functions such as Touchpad and Share Screen. If you have an Xbox Elite Controller, click here for a special version of the Crossover GamePack.
