Hello,

I have been trying to figure out to do a standing 720 with zangief like here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HLkWcHcY7FQ

The problem is that my script seems to slow and the super does not come out.

my script:

main {

if (event_press(PS4_RIGHT)) {
combo_run(zangief720_1);
}

}
combo zangief360 {
set_val(PS4_RIGHT, 100);
wait(60);
set_val(PS4_RIGHT, 0);
wait(30);
set_val(PS4_DOWN, 100);
wait(60);
set_val(PS4_DOWN, 0);
wait(30);
set_val(PS4_LEFT, 100);
wait(60);
set_val(PS4_LEFT, 0);
wait(30);
set_val(PS4_UP, 100);
set_val(PS4_L1, 100);
wait(60);
}
combo zangief720_1 {
set_val(PS4_RIGHT, 100);
wait(60);
set_val(PS4_RIGHT, 0);
wait(30);
set_val(PS4_DOWN, 100);
wait(60);
set_val(PS4_DOWN, 0);
wait(30);
set_val(PS4_LEFT, 100);
wait(60);
set_val(PS4_LEFT, 0);
wait(30);
set_val(PS4_UP, 100);
wait(60);
set_val(PS4_UP, 0);
wait(30);
set_val(PS4_LEFT, 100);
wait(60);
set_val(PS4_LEFT, 0);
wait(30);
set_val(PS4_DOWN, 100);
wait(60);
set_val(PS4_DOWN, 0);
wait(30);
set_val(PS4_RIGHT, 100);
set_val(PS4_SQUARE,100);
set_val(PS4_TRIANGLE,100);
set_val(PS4_R1, 100);
wait(60);
}

any ideas?

thx

If it is too fast, reduce the wait times. You may even be able to remove a wait time in between button changes.

I tested a dozen different waiting times in different combinations. And after hours of testing I have come to the conclusion that the cronus max is not capable for such fast input.

Videos of reference with people doing this motion by hand:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I-jdSzKdMfw

If somebody wants to prove me wrong, go ahead you will only waste your time. The cronusmax is NOT capable of doing this.

This can be done. The trick is you do not need to input diagonals and you only need 7 inputs to make it work. RIGHT, DOWN, LEFT, UP, RIGHT, DOWN, LEFT + PUNCH. The skipping diagonals also works with the normal 360. Now if you use this in a match, it will be pretty obvious that you are cheating because it is virtually impossible to do it with any controller short of a hit box.

I have tested this on PC and confirms it works.

main
{
if (event_press(PS3_R3))
{
combo_run(Standing720);
}
}

combo Standing720
{
set_val(PS3_RIGHT,100);
set_val(PS3_DOWN, 0);
set_val(PS3_LEFT, 0);
set_val(PS3_UP, 0);
wait(20);

set_val(PS3_RIGHT, 0);
set_val(PS3_DOWN, 100);
set_val(PS3_LEFT, 0);
set_val(PS3_UP, 0);
wait(20);

set_val(PS3_RIGHT, 0);
set_val(PS3_DOWN, 0);
set_val(PS3_LEFT, 100);
set_val(PS3_UP, 0);
wait(20);

set_val(PS3_RIGHT, 0);
set_val(PS3_DOWN, 0);
set_val(PS3_LEFT, 0);
set_val(PS3_UP, 100);
wait(20);

set_val(PS3_RIGHT, 100);
set_val(PS3_DOWN, 0);
set_val(PS3_LEFT, 0);
set_val(PS3_UP, 0);
wait(20);

set_val(PS3_RIGHT, 0);
set_val(PS3_DOWN, 100);
set_val(PS3_LEFT, 0);
set_val(PS3_UP, 0);
wait(20);

set_val(PS3_RIGHT, 0);
set_val(PS3_DOWN, 0);
set_val(PS3_LEFT, 100);
set_val(PS3_UP, 0);
set_val(PS3_TRIANGLE, 100);
wait(20);
}

Wow.. This is just perfect!! Thanks alot! it even works on both sides.

I have a question tough:

Whats the benefit of doing it like this:

set_val(PS3_RIGHT,100);
set_val(PS3_DOWN, 0);
set_val(PS3_LEFT, 0);
set_val(PS3_UP, 0);
wait(20);

and not just like this:

set_val(PS3_RIGHT,100);
wait(20);
I mean the other buttons dont get pressed anyway.. So why write them out?

Thx

I do that just in case you might be holding a direction during the combo that might screw it up. This guarantees that only the direction desired gets pressed.
