G27 with drivehub: great on PS4 GT Sport & horrible on Xbox 1X FH4

I just got an xbox one x and it’s kinda working with the drivehub. I updated to firmware 2.0.3 beta 40, but I’ve noticed the following two issues: 1. The acceleration lights don’t work on the wheel or the drivehub and 2. It’s really, really hard to control a car - steering is super sensitive but has no feel at all (super vague with no on center feel) (the wheel works beautifully with GT Sport on the ps4 pro). I’m thinking that something isn’t quite right. Any thoughts on anything that may not be set right?

try setting the wheel angle lower or higher, i seems to me that maybe its not getting set but the game is expecting it to be set... 540° used to the the standard on previous versions of Forza.

The messages from the game to set it are cached, please try quickly pluging and unplugging the G27 from the DriveHub...

Thanks. That helped a bit. We are still experiencing a lot of challenges with the cars being super hard to control (whereas the cars in ps4 drive just as you’d expect). Any thoughts?

Related question... my drivehub displays a 0 not a spinning figure 8 after it boots up. When it first starts, I get the spinning 8, then it spells out G27 and then it goes to the 0. I’ve tried dozens of times power cycling it while holding the p1 button but that’s not changing it. What should it be doing?

Thanks. I updated the drivehub to beta 40. When driving, it's like it's driving on ice. One little blip of the steering wheel and the car goes flying. It's super hard to control. I know the wheel is okay because it works perfectly with the drivehub on Gran Turismo Sport on the PS4 (through the DriveHub).

I think the Forza Horizon handling is more to do with the game itself than the Drivehub - The default wheel setting is awful but I managed to get a workable setting by googling 'Forza Horizon Wheel Settings' and trialing a few different combos.

Unfortunately the game mechanics themselves are aimed at fast-paced drift-heavy arcade action using a gamepad. If you give the steering wheel a 'realistic' setting, the response is just not quick enough for the cornering required in Forza however if you make it twitchy enough to make those fast narrow corners it becomes too hard to keep the car in a straight line. You might be able to find a happy medium if you spend enough time fettling
but I found it easier to keep the Xbox in the lounge so I can curl up on the couch and have a quick thrash on Forza whenever I like and kept the more involved racing for GTsport with the g29+ Racing Seat setup in the spare room.

Now if I could only get my Drivehub to work with my G27 for 2-player mode...

I got the drive hub last week...
updated to latest firmware... and try to use my g27 on the following games..
    diry Rally 1
    Project Car 2
    Forza 7 Demo

and What the original poster stated is EXACTLY my feeling.. It is so hard to play.. spin out all the time.... ultra sensitivities... I mean.. All i did is Quick Race. or the first race in Career mode...
i even try to use an Go kart in Project car 2... and still.. I spinout my way in to last place.

did any one get drive hub with G27 to work normally for Xbox1 ?

I .... do not even have a ps4... but i am a ok driver with g27 on ps3.... so.. i dont know...what is going on..
