Output Protocol on "auto" does not switch "xbox360" on pc.

Currently, if i set protocol to "Auto" it gets detected as ps4 controller on ps4! thats right but once i plug it into a windows 10 pc, through a USB hub, it s detected as a "wired controller" instead of "xbox controller"

Is there a chance that this feature gets more love in the future?

If you are plugging it in with the wireless receiver then it should work fine.. I would assume.

It has to be set to XB360. That's how it works with the PC. We emulate using the XB360 drivers.

You can choose 'Automatic' if you need to use your CM+ with both Microsoft and PS consoles, but if you want to use it with a PC, you must set Output Protocol to 'XBOX360' as stated into the manual (MaxADMIN has put so much love into the manual...)

Here's the instructions: Connecting to a Windows PC

Re: Output Protocol on "auto" does not switch "xbox360" on pc.

I get why console's usb hubs are easier to indentify compared to "god-knows-what" pc devices but is it "really" not possible to prefer unidentified devices recognized as "pc"" and switch to "Xbox360 " protocol. This will only affect users who put the "autorecognition" on. And since ps4 and xbox consoles are indetified properly, that leave very little choice.

    Actually i check the list:
ps3, ps4, xbox one and x360. So , since ps4 has no problem as i tested in auto mode. The problem is still on identifying whether it is ps3 or xbox 360 or an or an xbox one...

Anyways, alot of time has passed since CM+ had an update and i hope it is "calm" enough in the dev department that this feature gets a second look.
