    ***IMPORTANT*** HOW TO ASK FOR GAMEPACK OR SCRIPT SUPPORT

    NOTE


    Mods are presented in two delivery systems, Scripts and GamePacks.

    Controllers: Scripts & GamePacks
    Keyboard and Mouse:
    Scripts (No GamePack support)

    So if you are a Keyboard and Mouse user wondering why GamePacks are not working.....



    This is a guide to make sure we get the relevant information to assist you when you are having problems with a GamePack or Script.

    First of all.....

    PLEASE DO NOT SEND PRIVATE MESSAGES/EMAILS TO GAMEPACK OR SCRIPT DEVELOPERS FOR SUPPORT - THEY WILL NOT BE RESPONDED TO. ALL SUPPORT IS GIVEN HERE ON THE FORUMS - AND REMEMBER, SCRIPT DEVELOPERS DO THIS FOR FREE AND FOR FUN - TREAT THEM WITH RESPECT OR YOUR ACCOUNT WILL BE SUSPENDED.

    If your problem is the GamePack/Script isn't loading or you don't know how to set it up - please refer to the manual and many videos we have on how to actually use a GamePack/Script first. When asking for support we are assuming that you at least understand how to load a GamePack or Script to one of the CronusMAX memory slots.

    You must also make sure your post is in the correct section - it's pointless posting about Rainbow 6 in the PUBG support topic.

    This is the information you need to provide in your post:

    1. The console being used.
    2. The controller being used
    3. The name and version number of GamePack you are using or if you are using a script a copy of the exact script you are using (you MUST use GPC tags when posting any scripts or they will look a mess)
    4. Which slot # is the GamePack/Script programmed to (Some GamePacks don't like Slots 8 and 9 so I always recommend using the lower slots if you have any issues)
    5. The exact GCI settings (GamePack Configuration Interface - if you don't know what this is then go read the instructions and come back) (Note: GamePack only - not applicable with scripts)
    6. The exact in-game settings including what version update of the game you are using.
    7. What mods/functions you are having problems with a detailed description of the problem so it can be reproduced.
    8. Any other details that may be relevant (i.e. if you have a RapidFire issue - what weapon(s) are you using and any addons or perks that are being used).

    I see many posts like "Rainbow 6 gamepack isn't working!!" or "CoD anti-recoil isn't working!!" and my absolute favorite "it doesn't work" and that's it. Back home my Grandma would call these statements "about as useful as a chocolate fireguard". We can't do anything with these as it tells us nothing, nada, zilch, zero. These kinds of posts are almost always ignored and are completely pointless. Don't do it!

    If the above guidelines are adhered to, you can be sure that your query will get the very best attention - and it will help us resolve any possible issues much faster.

    10/04/18 Update:

    Some users have reported that all their script/gamepack problems solved after they did a master reset of their Cronus (perhaps some corrupt data causing an issue?)

    It's a pretty simple procedure:

    First do a Firmware Recovery: https://cronusmax.com/manual/cronusmax_repair.htm

    Then run a Factory Reset: https://cronusmax.com/manual/basics_...D&mw=MzIw#id_3

    Remember this will completely erase your Cronus of any other scripts or gamepacks or settings. I recommend using Slots 1 & 2 to test your scripts and to make sure everything is 100% functional.
