Help Disability device not recognize and not working - Quadstick

Hello guys I need help I am disabled and for playing games I use a quadstick link of device.( QuadStick FPS game controller — QuadStick ) this device is for people that cannot use their hands to play games with a regular controller. for the past 2 years I have been playing and using the cronusmax with x-aim to make my trackball work together and I would like to know how to setup my new Cronus Zen instead of the cronusmax pro.
The way I use the trackball is for aiming and turning around & look and my quadstick is programmed to use it for forward backward left and right and most the buttons that's on the xbox controller and I use the xbox adaptive controller for additional buttons.

The way Im setup with the cronusmax is like this step by step
    - 1 Open Xbox One X (after all loaded)
    - 2 Insert Cronus max in the Xbox one usb (leave plug in)
    - 3 Plug Xbox One controller into cronusmax (leave in 30sec then unplug controller from cronusmax)
    - 4 Plug Quadstick into cronusmax usb (leave quadstick pluged in the cronus)
    - 5 Laptop opened with Cronus Program then plug cable into side of cronusmax then click plugin tab in program and X-aim and choose my usual COD setting for gaming fps and 2 other steps to reach were the green bar will go up when moving trackball

    Please Help it's much appreciated
    Thanks
    TerryLee

What have you tried for when you're hooking it up with the Zen?

Re: Help Disability device not recognize and not working - Quadstick

Hi buddy, what I did so far is plug the zen and updated the firmware and zen studio. Then I plugged the zen to the computer all like the instructions explained and I plugged my trackball into the side one and it seems to work when I am turning my trackball in the zen studio program at the device tab it appears but with a blue question so I go in diagnostic an if I rotate the ball it moves a little thing at the top so this seems to work. then I tried the front one on the zen with my usb that is from my quadstick and nothing appears in device.

Also not that I want to have some pity but keep in mind I can't do this by my self I need to ask people that helps me with my daily stuff by telling them plug this and unplug that so it's not always easy lol because I am paralyzed from the shoulders down but in my left hand I have a little movement so this one is the one i use for turning the trackball and pushing a few buttons of my xbox adaptive controller .

So basically that is what I have tried so far

    Here's my gaming setup picture
    Attachment 8482

Thanks for the help... gaming is one of the only thing can do for passtime so I hope we can find a solution

Hm. How many USBs are you needing to plug in? Trying to understand the setup.

Re: Help Disability device not recognize and not working - Quadstick

Hi Buddy, I finally got my Quadstick to work with the zen... The guy from the quadstick support told me to add a line in my Quadstick scrip to make it recognized by the zen and boom it works.

But I am having some issues to get in the zen when it's all connected to the xbox it's not working when I push the 2 buttons at the same time to go and modify stuff in the game pack.

So the way Im connect is
Zen plugged in back usb of xbox one
Xbox adaptive controller plugged in back usb of xbox one
    Trackball in A3
    Quadstick in A2
    Xbox controller in A1

Do I need to plug the xbox controller because I dont use it.... or I should plug Xbox adaptive controller in A1

Also can I use a usb extension from the 12" zen cable to the xbox

    thanks
    Terry

Hi Terry, Love the setup by the way! Forgot to mention that

Glad to hear that some of your issues are disappearing!

Okay, which combo of buttons is the Gamepack you're trying to open for Mod Setup? And with your setup, are you able to set new Keybindings? I am not familiar with this setup but it sounds like you need to set keybinds?

    Zen Studio > Plugins > M&K Settings.

Hm Okay. I would try the Adaptive Controller in the A1 port. I am unsure if that is classified for an Auth Controller but if that doesnt work for you... leaving the Xbox controller in A1 is okay as it is used for the Console.

I have used a longer micro usb cord that wasn't the original and it had worked for me. I try to keep as original as possible until the cord doesnt work anymore.. But I hear it varies by different cords etc. For other people. I hope that sheds some light.
